Jonathan Mast is a highly recognized leader in the social media industry. In 2005 he was recognized for creating one of the first ever corporate podcasts used to facilitate internal communication and messaging.  He has spoken at many industry conferences on social media. He began his official social media career in 2008 while working for Black & Veatch a global engineering firm operating in 100 countries. During his tenure there he launched two award winning blogs and developed award winning videos. Working with social media teams around the world Black & Veatch became a leader in that industry space for how to advance their brand using social channels.

Jonathan returned to Sedgwick in 2013 to lead their social media strategy. Sedgwick is a leading global provider of technology-enabled risk and benefits solutions that operates with over 22,000 colleagues in 65 countries. During that time he and his team have launched an industry recognized blog, been a leader in using video content for content sharing as well as quickly finding successful ways to create brand awareness on channels that might not be seen as one that would be the typical method. Currently the use of artificial intelligence and how it connects social interactions are at the forefront of some of his latest project efforts.

Jonathan assists many local charities and non-profits to create and develop social media campaigns to raise awareness for their organizations.

Jonathan has a master’s in organizational communication from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and a Bachelors of Arts in speech communication from the University of Arkansas.
